1)Learn to get inspired & motivated.

— surround yourself from inspiring people.

You must not just surround yourself with only people you look up to, but also with people who are chasing similar dreams.
Because they can influence your course of life positively by sharing what they are thinking, showing what they are doing to reach their goals.
The people you spend the most time with shape who you are. 💎

Even the most influential and wise motivational speaker and businessman, Jim Rohn, said that:

You are the average of the five people that you mingle with.
— Jim Rohn

You can take advantage of that if you start hanging out more with people who have the mindset you seek to adopt and are achieving (or have already achieved) goals similar to yours.

— Learn from successful people around you

Successful people have enthusiasm for whatever they are into, whether it is the psychology, programming, medicine, teaching, or business. They are talking about it, reading articles written by others who are successful, and happily busy with full schedules.

Now imagine how you would be lucky meeting with and talking to them, learning from their experience and wise bits of advice.

Is there anyone so wise as to learn by the experience of others?
— Voltaire

Thus, you can learn something you are curious about when you talk to them. Take advantage of this opportunity and learn from smart and successful people as much as possible.

2. Put down all your goals in a notebook.

— “Life is like writing with a pen. Although you can cross out the past, you can never erase it”.

You change, your life changes, and guess what? Your goals are allowed to change, too. Writing your goals down allows you to modify and change them as needed, without losing all of your prior progress. Everything will still be there, allowing you to keep track of where you’ve been and where you’re going.

You aren’t the same person you were 5 years ago, 1 year ago, 6 months ago, or even one month ago.

Goals might not come to you in an instant, either. Some may need a little bit more thought and refinement.

3.Plant out your goal with concrete steps.

Specific goals are clear and focused, not broad, ambiguous, or general. Specific goals provide specific information on the behaviors that are associated with the goal. These goals indicate who will do what, when and how.

4.Visualize: image & feel.

Visualization is a useful technique that helps you reach your goals and live your dreams. It works by getting your mind and body ready for what you want to happen — and, just like exercise, the more you do it, the stronger it becomes.Aim to practice your visualization exercises daily in a quiet place, and make sure your visualizations are as detailed as possible. Remember — always focus on what you want to happen, not on what you don’t want to happen.

5.Distinguish between a lack of desire or a lack of energy.

What is lack of energy? Lack of energy can be described as tiredness, weariness, lethargy or fatigue. It can be accompanied by depression, decreased motivation, or apathy. Lack of energy can be a normal response to inadequate sleep, overexertion, overworking, stress, lack of exercise, or boredom. When part of a normal response, lack of energy often resolves with rest, adequate sleep, stress management, and good nutrition.

Motivation and enthusiasm manifest as desire and interest, and as a driving force that pushes you to take action and pursue goals.

When motivation is lacking you become passive, unhappy and stay in the same place without making progress.
The above mentioned reasons stifle motivation and enthusiasm, and are excuses for not acting. However, you can learn to overcome and disregard them, by becoming aware of them, acknowledging them, and understanding that you can change the programming of your mind.

Sometimes, there are short bursts of motivation or enthusiasm. You start acting enthusiastically, but lose interest and motivation after a while, because you find it hard to sustain motivation or enthusiasm.

If you wish to improve your life, you need to awaken motivation and enthusiasm and keep them up. It can help if you tell yourself, over and again, how much you lose by their absence, and how much you gain by having them.

You need incentive and drive for following your big dreams, and also for the performance of minor daily tasks and chores. Otherwise, laziness, procrastination and lack of energy and will set in.

6.Share your dream or success with someone else.

— once we have said it aloud, we realize that we have to get started.

Aim to pal up with truth-tellers. One of the keys to achieving success is to surround yourself with supportive truth-tellers Surround yourself with caring and supportive truth tellers. Then reciprocate.

Everybody needs at least one person around who tells them the truth, who can tell you if you are wrong or made a mistake, who will provide you constructive feedback, and help you grow faster in this way or not allowed to make a more significant mistake.

Don’t be afraid to trust people because your fears can be holding you back from further developing a good relationship with people who could one day be your friends.

I prefer to give trust upfront.

Remove negative people from your life

Most people who never achieve success surround themselves with negative people.Negative people rarely change.

The pessimist does not care about anyone but themselves. They actually like being negative. It makes them feel authoritative, alive and gives them something to do.

Don’t try to change a pessimist! They will probably change you.

Negative people are toxic, and so they can contaminate you with wrong thoughts, words, and deeds.

If you can’t remove such a person from your life, then at least limit your exposure to them.

7.Action provokes action & energy provokes more energy.

— the people with the busiest schedule, get more things done. The more you do the more you get done.

8.Be flexible and be easy on yourself.

— we have our ups and downs too.

Flexibility is an important skill to master, whether it means having the ability to overcome stress or simply to adjust to changes quickly. Having a high level of flexibility makes it easier for you to live a less stressful and hectic life. While flexibility is important, many people struggle to achieve it for a variety of reasons. Fortunately, improving your flexibility is possible.

Benefits of being flexible on your goals
Flexibility is important in your everyday life for a variety of reasons. Being flexible can help you avoid being overwhelmed or stifled by change. You will also have an increased ability to direct your development and personal life rather than being a passive participant.

9. Celebrate your victories.

— whatever gives you joy :)

The need to celebrate the little victories along the way. (Notice the little red flags in the comic.)

Usually, when we map out our “grand plan” — for life, for today, for our business, etc. — we put the finish flag at the end, and we think, When I get there, I’ll celebrate.

It makes perfect sense if you’re expecting a nice, straight line to victory.

But knowing that we’re going to encounter our fair share (or sometimes more than fair share) of obstacles between here and the finish line, we can’t wait until we get “there” to celebrate.

When you give your attention to — and celebrate — the little victories, though, you’re essentially reminding yourself that “I am successful… I’m on the right path…”
